Our most recent Ofsted inspection was in February 2026.

We are delighted to report that the inspectors say that Pakefield is a “calm place” where pupils are happy and adults have high expectations of how they should behave. The school’s strong attendance data is praised, as is staff’s work to support those families who have children who struggle to come to school.

The early years provision and learning environments are “well considered, with lots of opportunities for children to rehearse basic skills in reading and writing”. Inspectors note that pupils have lots of opportunities for leadership roles, such as play leaders, librarians and council members and “undertake these with pride”.
